It was a fun and engaging panel discussion about “Prompt to performance: How AI is transforming content marketing for the future” at Marketing Interactive’s Content 360 Malaysia conference.

I was honoured to share the stage with Evelyn Lee (Head of Marketing, Secret Recipe) and Alyaa Ramlan (Head of Social, Telekom Malaysia) in this panel moderated by Camillia Dass (Associate Deputy Editor, Marketing Interactive).

We examined how marketers should carefully deploy AI in their content marketing. The key takeaways:

1. Embrace the technology for efficiency while constantly examining the effectiveness of the output with proper processes and guidelines.

2. Use AI for 60-80% of the content research, planning, and development, and make sure the remaining is the human touch and emotional connection.

3. Marketers should be the pilot of their marketing plan while using AI as the copilot to assist them.
