In Feb 2015, Rene Menezes and Peter Yoong shared with me about CtrlShift’s plan to set up publisher alliance or similar model in Southeast Asia, just a month after the launch of CtrlShift. I was so excited when I heard about the plan, and that excitement led to my decision to leave a company I worked for 17 years.
I was excited: because I have been working in publisher side for many years; because helping publishers is close to my heart; because if this happened, it would be impactful to the digital landscape in the region; because we only live once, and we have to do this!
Today, we are launching this project that we have been working on for the last 2+ years! We are launching AMP – CtrlShift’s private marketplace and it’s the region’s first independent private marketplace!

A big shout out to the amazing team to make this happen – Diana Boo, Dominic James Loh, Wai Loon Chin, Paul Pincon, Ida Nurshahida, Steven Yeo and Jason Gopal, and everyone in CtrlShift!
BIG thanks to all the publisher partners – Media Prima Digital (Rafiq Razali & Paul Moss), Star Media Group (Lim Bee Leng, Roy Tan & Yee Wing-Tak), Sinchew (Keu Tien Siong), Malay Mail Online (Saiwan Wong) , Rev Asia (Voon Tze Khay, Samuel Wee & Christopher Wee), Cari (Liew Chew Keat & Tan Boon Kooi) and TanTanNews.com (Sean Teoh & Carson Lee)!
Together, we are stronger and we can conquer!
And…this is just the beginning!
