AI Transformation Conference Series 2024

From Kuala Lumpur in April to Kuching in July to Johor Bahru in August (unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the Penang conference in September due to prior commitments), and finally back to Kuala Lumpur on November 28-29 in 2024, we competed the AI Transformation Conference series.

In the final event of the conference series, I was tasked to be the speaker of the opeing keynote titled The AI Era: The 10 things You Must know before 2053.

Apart from that, I also conducted 2 workshops on how businesses should use data.

This journey has truly been an emotional and rewarding experience, while we have impacted more than thousand of participants in total in the conference series.

First and foremost, I must thank the organizers, Xiao Ma and Daphne Chea, along with their outstanding team. It has been a series of remarkable and seamless collaborations throughout the tour.

Additionally, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work repeatedly with many industry peers during this “tour,” fostering deeper friendships and a sense of camaraderie—an “unexpected reward” beyond the series itself.

Of course, the most important gratitude goes to all the attendees who supported the events along the way. I sincerely hope that by participating in these events, they have gained new insights and know-how.

The awakening of AI and technological advancement is only the beginning. Let us work together to ensure more people can ride this wave to enhance their personal or corporate competitiveness, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow.

As Charles Dickens wrote in A Tale of Two Cities:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times……”

During the closing of my opening keynote at the final conference at Kuala Lumpur, I shared this:

“If you do nothing and miss out on this era, it will be the worst of times.
But if you seize the opportunity offered by the era and do the right things at the right time, it will be the best of times.”

Let us all embrace AI and move forward together.
