The United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (Dong Lian Selangor & KL, 雪隆华校董联会) organized its first “AI and Education Conference” on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
I was honored to be invited as the opeing keynote speaker, alongside other speakers from the education sector.
Around 230 people attended, the vast majority being teachers from Chinese independent high schools, with about 20–30% comprising committee members and school board directors.
I shared the following ideas with the participants:
- The age of AI is the age of asking questions
- How to evolve from using AI tools to becoming an individual with many “capabilities”
- From AI tools to AI agents
- The rise of AI Tutors
- How to face future challenges with a “+AI” approach
What made me happiest was the depth of the questions asked by the participants—they truly inspired me as well.
