I have completed my 2nd term as president of the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) and stepped down on Apr 17th.
Thanks to all the supports from MDA council members, members, leaders from other associations, industry leaders for the last 4 years.

As a team, we worked tirelessly the last few years and achieved the below:
1. We doubled the number of MDA members and association assets
2. We have launched many new initiatives such as MDA School, Best Practices Report (Sophia Toh, Eileen Ooi), MDA Video Series (Sophia Toh, Eileen Ooi, Aparna Krishnan), expanding measurement coverage (Yee Wing-Tak), digital adex (Nick Drew), and making Digital Wednesday (Christopher Sebiji Jelly Wee, Ryan Ong) and d Awards (Nick Drew, Eileen Ooi, Nicholas Sagau) as the flagship events for the industry


3. We worked with many associations, parties and partners in the country or the region to push the growth of the digital media and advertising industry, to name a few: MDEC, 4As, ABC, MAA, MSA, CMCF, CRM, IAB SG, WAN-IFRA, ATS (Exchange Wire), etc. These valuable partnerships also made MDA as the de facto association to represent digital media and advertising industry in the country


Personally, this is also an amazing journey for me as I have chances to know so many of the industry peers and ultimately become friends and some even good friends.
Special mention to Macomm team (especially Jacob Matthews, Wong Siew Wai and Zati – Izyati Azami) who helps MDA doing all the admin and secretarial jobs. They are truly the unsung heroes behind associations like MDA.

I hope these crazy times will be over soon, and we can meet up in the usual MDA events to celebrate our friendship and the industry again!
